Fall hurricane season in Ohio provided us with the perfect opportunity to throw away the entire contents of our refrigerator and freezer and start over. I regret all the onion and squash I'd cut up and frozen, and the ground beef I get from a local farm, but I really don't regret having to start fresh when I know some of the condiments and the contents of the back of the freezer were probably years old.
